Pool Rummy

It is the most popular variant of Indian Rummy game for which players in the range of 2 to 6 are needed. This variant is offered in two formats like 101 points and 201 points:

Players play this game with the motive of scoring least score possible in each game. Those players who reach 101 or 201 points at the earliest will be out of the game. The eventual player who remains at the end of the games is declared as the winner.

Points Rummy

It is the most interesting and the fastest variant of all in the Indian Rummy game. Each game lasts for a single deal only. At the end of each game, the winner receives chips from rest of the players based upon the count and bet value. Players can play and win a maximum number of games in a less duration of time.

The number of players who can deal could be in the range of 2 to 6. The bet value can be Low, Medium or High.

Deals Rummy

Deals Rummy is another popular variant of Indian Rummy played across the country. There are two popular formats available as far as deals are considered as mentioned below.

BO2 Deals Rummy

This type of deals consists of 2 deals played by 2 players. Both players begin with 160 points each (2 deals x 80 points). The one with more number of points at the finish of 2 deals is crowned as the winner.

BO3 Deals Rummy

In this type, the player with lowest points, in the end, is declared as a winner. Each of the 2 players must play all 3 rounds. However, there can be a tie as well, if there is a tie in scores after the initial 3 rounds then a 4th round would be played.

Leagues Rummy

It is an exclusive variant for all those players who prefer playing on a long term basis. There will be no “Drop” option available, ensuring that all players need to play until all the rounds are completed. The rounds will be in odd number such as 3 or 5, cards are dealt between two players only. A player who wins the maximum number of rounds will be declared as the Winner.
